From the archives of my visit to the MET during the very lovely CAMP 

I found Galliano with a larger than life bow & a hat that slides past the eyebrows making me think of a Christmas stocking 

And the magnifying glass on the sleeve has me thinking that if indeed Sherlock Holmes were into couture, he just might borrow the look…

Me encontré a Galliano con tremendo lazo y un gorro tan grande que de por seguro tapa las cejas y me recuerda a un calcetín navideño

Y por la lupa que lleva en la manga me parece que sería algo que luciría el gran Sherlock Holmes si vistiera de alta costura… 

De Vivienne Westwood un look para una muñequita real al cual el terciopelo sea una aliado tanto en su confort como en su estilo

This past May the New York Museo del Barrio held it's annual gala 

at the Cipriani Hotel in Manhattan 

Everywhere you looked, you saw detail in fashion 

From intricate beading in gowns to bedazzled jewelry pieces 

A site for fashion indeed as worn by Alexandra Lebenthal 

El pasado 21 de Mayo el Museo del Barrio le dio vida 

a su gala anual en el hotel Cipriani de Manhattan 

Y en cada lugar habían unos bellos detalles de la moda 

Desde el bordado delicado en los vestidos 

Hasta el brillo que destacó cada pulsera & collar 

En verdad una hermosa vista así como Alexandra Lebenthal
